Due to my leg insury that occured in early December I’m going to have to have a knee surgery sometime soon. I’m hoping to get it done in Poland so I won’t be available for a few weeks. I will be picking up emails and updating this website all the time, but any courses will be postponed until after I’m back. Keep on breathing (properly!) until that time!

after spending so much time at home in full leg cast I can’t wait to be fully back at work. for now though i’m only involved in some venues. one of them is the masquerade party in Greystones Theatre on New Years Eve, where my temporarily named Greystones Studios Gospel Choir members will be helping out as backing choir for the Rolling Stones tribute band! We are trying to earn some money to buy ourselves choir robes in the new year!

I’ve been very busy lately, working with DGC, Gospel Rock Choir and Greystones Studios Gospel Choir, taking on new students, choosing my new home studio equipment and preparing new website specifically for weddings.

I have had some requests for gift vouchers, that will be used as parts of Christmas packages so I will be printing some lovely looking vouchers for individual vocal coaching sessions to be used from Christmas day onwards!

I feel i learned a lot about a method that is completely, utterly different to what i’ve known so far. and as much as i admire the sharp jazz sound and the range (the range achievements are amazing) I would not be convinced that i can get the same deep rich sound that I achieve with the open throat method.

But i’m richer in experience now and if I decide someone would actually work great with this method I will definitely use it with some students!

I’m very happy that I managed to book a place for a workshop with Marek Stawinski, who certified in this method of vocal training in US. I really like the methods rules, which basically are to remove all the straining from vocal chords, keeping them in the same place, so the singing should be as easy and natural as speaking.
