So 2012 is here. One of my New Year’s resolutions is to get more organized. I doubt this is going to happen any time soon though, so in the meantime please, book your sessions and assessments through the VOICE STUDIO CALENDAR (Link on the left) and if possible – type in your phone number there, so that I can contact you if the session needs to be moved/cancelled.

Due to me being busy with other projects as well I am not taking as many students as I used to in previous years and priority in booking always falls on my existing students, so make sure you book your lessons quickly, coz when the slots are gone – they’re gone! If you require a weekend slot or one that is not available on my calendar please don’t hesitate to email me or text me and I will try to work it out for you .

Hello all!

We are starting new year full of music, joy and …. yes….. vocal workouts!!!! With brand new CALENDAR for you to just come in and book your lesson (or book it the old way, via email or txt) and my recent further training as a vocal coach it is even easier again to learn to sing.

Learning to teach

I love how part of my work is reading books about music and teaching. cant imagine better job, really. I truly believe in inspirational teaching, in giving the student tools to self assess, spot and fix voice problems rather than make them memorize exercises and songs with no creative thought of their own. It works for… me and it is confirmed by music coaches of the world that it’s the best way to teach. I have used my time off to educate myself even further in efficient coaching and I’m resuming my studio classes with even more confidence and passion.

As always, lack of time doesn’t allow me to take on all enquiries so if you’d like to work on your singing abilities before the holidays kick in (and I have more time), email me as soon as possible to make sure I have free slots!

due to MagDee being sick again all classes are cancelled until New Year at least. We’re sorry for the inconvenience, but for a singer/vocal coach suffering from chest/lung infection is a disaster so the primary goal is to rest and get better. See you all in the new year!!!

We wish you merry Christmas this year, let this joyful holiday be your shining star in these difficult times. We hope you all will continue to sing your little hearts out, especially with all those beautiful Christmas songs and a perfectly good excuse to organize that family karaoke session you were meaning to organize!!!

Singing Tips

In most cases the natural “base” voice is much nicer than the voice we ended up with trying to recreate our idols. we just have to set it free and realize that singing should be as natural as talking, and also that it’s better to be unique self than a copy of someone elses tone and adlib style, because as a copy we will most likely be worse than the original. if we stay unique – we will not be compared. only appreciated!
