Magdalena is a great teacher. She is very encouraging, builds confidence and makes it all good fun. She chooses really great pieces that are fun to sing, and is incredible the way she can sing all the different lines - soprano, alto, tenor (and probably bass) almost simultaneously. I can't recommend her highly enough - she rocks!
I'm a member of the Greystones Studio Gospel Choir. I wouldn't rate myself as a singer at all, but that doesn't matter - we rock! Magdalena is on a mission to get the best out of all of us, individually and as a group, and every Thursday I leave our rehearsal happy, uplifted and with a smile on my face. Thanks Magdalena!
I thorougly enjoyed the 8 week course I did with Magdalena. She got me to do breathing and vocal exercises for the first few weeks and for the remaining sessions we worked on a song that I really like which gave me a chance to put what I had learnt into practice. I could feel an improvement at every session and really feel my voice developed over the few weeks. Every thing she got me to do made sense and I could feel the benefits of her advice. Magdalena was always really patient which I feel is a great quality to have as a singing teacher because when you're starting off you can feel quite nervous singing in front of someone until you gain more confidence. She really emphasises how important it is to look after your voice and to learn to sing properly by using the proper breathing techniques and vocal exercises. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her as a teacher!
The purpose of this testimony is to tell you how pleased we are with the influence that Maggie has had on our daughter Estefanie. Magdalena is a great singing teacher who makes you understand the fundamentals of singing and explains to you how to use your voice as an instrument. I found her lessons very enjoyable and personally she is very friendly and easy going and really knows her stuff! I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a vocal coach who wants to learn or improve their singing!
My experience with Magdalena has been great fun and really professional. I feel I have learned in my eight week course the fundamentals of singing, and I feel now I have a secure base both- experientially and theoretically from which to build my voice from now on.
